The cannabinoid receptor known as CB1 comprises the most abundant receptors in the brain. It is the receptor that is responsible for the feeling of euphoria and intoxication.
THC activates CB1 receptors, while CBD does not. This explains why THC gets you high while CBD does not.
THC has a bit of a negative reputation. Because of its mind-altering effects, it has remained a controversial compound since its early days. Whether you are a proponent or opponent of THC’s recreational use, the medical benefits are clear. Research supports that it has powerful therapeutic attributes, including potent anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties.
CBD contains the same properties, making it an effective form of treatment for inflammation and chronic pain. As the use of CBD grows, so does its reputation as somewhat of a miracle drug.
Scientific studies have found that CBD can treat many diseases and ailments including anxiety, depression, epilepsy, addictions, diabetes, and insomnia.
While both cannabinoids CBD and THC offer pain relief, CBD is a considered to be the more practical choice for most people. • Empty Knox Original Unflavored Gelatin packets into a Glass Measuring Cup/bowl.
• Using a blender, blend your chopped peppers with 3/4 cups of cold water.
(if you want spicier gummies, omit the seeding procedure),
Strain the blended Jalapeño pepper water directly into the 4-Cup Glass measuring Cup/bowl.
Make sure to use a FINE strainer…No chunks of pepper in gummy mixture
Use only 3/4 cup of the pepper water for the gelation mixture
Set pepper mixture aside for a few minutes – ( 5 minutes )
• Dust silicone candy molds with corn starch
• Mix Karo® Corn Syrup with gelatin mixture
• Cycle #1
Microwave for 1 minute (on-high)
Stir Mixture for 20 seconds
Add the Unflavored Jello and Kool-Aid to the gelation, gently stir the mixture,

Microwave for 45 seconds
Stir Mixture for 20 seconds – Use an Immersion Blender
• Cycle #3
Microwave for 30 seconds
Stir Mixture for 20 seconds – Use an Immersion Blender
• Mixture should be approx 155F to 175F —
If not HOT enough, microwave for 20 seconds.
If mixture is too HOT, allow to cool (DO NOT ALLOW MIXTURE to BOIL)
Let mixture cool for 2-3 minutes
Gently stir the mixture – Use an Immersion Blender
• Once everything is dissolved it’s time to add your tincture. 10 tablespoons.
Stir tincture with an Immersion Blender, combine fully.
(Will take a couple of minutes)
• Let mixture sit for 3 minutes (should be shiny)
• Gently stir the mixture again, use an Immersion Blender
• Pour into molds
• Leave on table to set for 1 hour
• Place in Freezer for 2 hours
• Pop gummies out of molds, place on a wire cooling rack to dehydrate at room temp for 24-48 hours for a more traditional gummy texture.
This recipe makes roughly 70 gummy rounds.

Cannabis, Hemp and Marijuana are not the same thing. Hemp and Marijuana come from the Cannabis plant species, but they have distinct differences in biological structures and functions. Marijuana can contain around 5-20% of tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, and low amounts of cannabidiol, known as CBD. Hemp contains large amounts of CBD and has a max level of 0.3% of THC. However, Z-Blends’ hemp products are extracted through a process which draws out the cannabinoids and puts them through a purification to filter out unwanted components, including THC. This is why it’s called “isolated.” Our hemp oil is free of THC. It was important to Z-Blends to offer a product with no psychoactive effects so that you could live your day as you would normally, while bettering it.
How Z-Blends’ Hemp Works Our bodies have a naturally produced system composed of endocannabinoids, receptors and enzymes called the endocannabinoid system (ECS). This plays a crucial role in monitoring functions in your body. Your ECS helps to correct anything out of line within your body. For example, when your temperature increases, your ECS assists by triggering sweat to cool down your body. Nanoemulsion is a manufacturing process in which the size of the oil is made small enough to absorb directly into the bloodstream.
